SMM Panel FAQ: Common Questions Answered

Published July 17, 2026·Updated July 17, 2026·6 min read·By the ZiloSMM team

An SMM panel is a self-service platform where you buy social media engagement — followers, likes, views, comments — priced per 1,000 units and delivered to public links. You never hand over your password, orders can end as completed, partial, or refunded, and paid engagement always carries some terms-of-service risk on the social platforms themselves. Below are direct answers to the questions we receive most often at ZiloSMM, grouped by topic.

Getting Started

What exactly is an SMM panel?

An SMM panel is an ordering system that sits between you and engagement providers. You paste a link, pick a service, and pay per 1,000 units. ZiloSMM is a campaign management and provider aggregation platform: each order is routed across more than 30 upstream providers with automatic failover and health monitoring, and providers are shown as anonymous aliases such as "Provider 1". For a full introduction, read what an SMM panel is and how it works.

Is buying engagement legal?

In most countries, buying engagement is not a criminal offense. It is, however, a violation of the terms of service of nearly every social platform, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X. Platforms can remove purchased engagement or, in rarer cases, restrict accounts. We state this openly: the risk for public metrics is generally low, but it is never zero, and no honest panel claims its services are undetectable.

Do I need to give you my password?

No. Every service on ZiloSMM works from a public URL only — a post link, a profile link, or a video link. You should never give your password to any engagement service, on any panel. If a website asks for your login credentials to deliver likes or followers, treat it as a serious security red flag and walk away.

How is ZiloSMM different from a single-provider panel?

Most panels resell from one upstream source, so when that source fails, your order fails. ZiloSMM monitors provider health continuously and uses a circuit breaker: if a provider goes down or degrades, new orders are routed to a healthy alternative automatically. On top of that sit an AI assistant (web and Telegram) that recommends services and prepares draft orders, and a campaign scheduler for bulk or timed orders.

Orders

Why has my order not started?

The most common reasons an order sits in pending:

If an order stays pending well past the stated start time, contact support with your order ID.

What does "partial" mean?

Partial means the provider delivered only part of your quantity and could not finish. The undelivered remainder is refunded to your wallet automatically. This is normal in the industry — provider capacity changes hour by hour. See drops, partials, and refunds explained for the full breakdown of order statuses.

I ordered below the minimum quantity. What happens?

The order will not deliver. Upstream providers ignore orders under the minimum — they can sit in pending indefinitely or complete with zero delivery. Always check the min/max shown on the service card before ordering. If you have already placed an order below the minimum, contact support to cancel and refund it.

I submitted the wrong link or a double order

Contact support immediately with the order ID. If the order has not started, it can usually be canceled and refunded. Once delivery has started, providers generally cannot reverse it. Also avoid running two orders of the same service to the same link at the same time: the counters overlap, and neither order can be verified accurately.

Refill and Guarantees

What does refill cover, and for how long?

Refill (sometimes called warranty) means dropped units are restored within a stated window — 30 days is common, but every service on ZiloSMM shows its own policy. Refill covers drops of what was already delivered. It does not cover future growth, deleted target content, or drops reported after the window closes.

Guarantee typeWhat it meansWhat to expect if numbers drop
No refillDelivered once; no compensation for later dropsDrops are not restored — use for low-cost tests or short campaigns
Refill (e.g. 30 days)Dropped units are restored within the stated window, per service policyRequest a refill from your order page; restoration is queued, not instant
Non-drop (label)Historically stable delivery — a quality signal, not a contractDrops are rare but possible; the refill policy still decides compensation

What does "non-drop" actually mean?

"Non-drop" describes historical stability, not a legal guarantee. It means units from that provider have rarely dropped in the past. Treat it as a quality signal and still check the refill policy: a non-drop label combined with a 30-day refill is meaningful protection, while a non-drop label with no refill is only a promise.

Payments

Which payment methods are available?

ZiloSMM accepts USDT on TRC20 and BEP20 (processed via Cryptomus/Heleket), Binance Pay, and VietQR bank transfer for customers in Vietnam. Your wallet balance is held in USD internally, and the interface can display prices in 21 currencies. Each method shows its own minimum deposit on the deposit page. For a detailed comparison, see SMM panel payment methods.

I sent crypto on the wrong network or with a wrong memo

Network mistakes are the most serious payment error. USDT sent on a network the deposit address does not support can be permanently lost — always match TRC20 to TRC20 and BEP20 to BEP20 exactly, and double-check before confirming in your wallet. A wrong or missing reference on a bank transfer is usually recoverable: contact support with the transaction proof, and the deposit is credited manually after reconciliation.

Account and API

What are VIP levels?

VIP levels are deposit-based tiers on your wallet. Higher tiers earn a bonus percentage on each deposit — you deposit $100 and receive $100 plus the bonus of your tier. Levels are shown in your account and apply automatically; there is no separate subscription to buy.

How do I get API access, and can I resell?

Every account includes API access. ZiloSMM uses the industry-standard SMM panel API: POST /api/v2 with your key and an action (services, add, status, balance, refill). Because this format is the de facto standard, most reseller panels and automation tools connect with minimal configuration — you resell under your own brand and prices while ZiloSMM handles routing and delivery. Follow the API integration guide to go from key to first order.

Frequently asked questions

What is an SMM panel?

An SMM panel is a self-service website where you order social media engagement — followers, likes, views, comments — priced per 1,000 units. You paste a public link, choose a service, and the panel delivers through upstream providers. ZiloSMM aggregates more than 30 providers and routes each order automatically, with failover if a provider fails.

Do I need to share my password to use an SMM panel?

No. A legitimate panel only needs the public URL of the profile, post, or video you want to promote. Never share your password with any engagement service — that is a serious security risk. Every service on ZiloSMM works from public links only.

Can my account get banned for buying engagement?

Buying engagement violates the terms of service of most social platforms. In practice, platforms usually remove the purchased engagement rather than ban the account, so the risk for public metrics is generally low — but it is never zero. We say this openly, do not guarantee outcomes, and never claim any service is undetectable.

Why has my order not started yet?

Common reasons: the provider queue is busy, the link is private or in the wrong format, or the quantity is outside the service's min/max range. ZiloSMM monitors provider health and reroutes orders automatically, which can add a short delay. If an order stays pending well past the stated start time, contact support with the order ID.

What does refill (warranty) mean?

Refill means dropped units are restored within a stated window — 30 days is common — according to each service's policy. It covers drops of what was already delivered, not future growth and not drops reported after the window closes. Services without refill are usually cheaper, but you carry the drop risk yourself.

What is a partial order?

Partial means the provider delivered only part of the quantity and stopped. The undelivered remainder is refunded to your wallet automatically. Partials happen when a provider runs out of capacity or the target link changes during delivery. You can reorder the missing amount with the same or a different service.

What payment methods does ZiloSMM accept?

ZiloSMM accepts USDT on TRC20 and BEP20 (via Cryptomus/Heleket), Binance Pay, and VietQR bank transfer for customers in Vietnam. Your wallet balance is held in USD, and prices can be displayed in 21 currencies. Always match the exact network when sending crypto — funds sent on an unsupported network can be permanently lost.

Does ZiloSMM offer an API for resellers?

Yes. ZiloSMM provides the standard SMM panel API v2: POST /api/v2 with your key and an action such as services, add, status, balance, or refill. Because the format is the industry standard, most reseller panels connect with minimal configuration. Full documentation is available at /api-docs.
